Key Features and Production of Faux Fur
The best quality of faux fur is certainly how incredibly authentic it looks today. It’s soft, cozy, and feels almost real. The appearance also closely resembles the original.
In faux fur production, a base fabric is used for the pile. Fibers are glued or woven onto this base and then trimmed to shape. To achieve the most natural look, color gradients are used during dyeing, imitating the patterns found on real animals. This begins with individual fibers, whose tips are often dyed lighter. Additionally, various shades are used throughout the fabric to create a natural effect.

Processing and Care Instructions
We recommend working in pairs when cutting the fabric. One person cuts while the other uses a vacuum cleaner to catch the loose fibers.
Faux fur should not be washed in large quantities in a regular washing machine, as the fabric can absorb too much water and become bulky. For smaller items like trims or hats, this isn’t an issue. It’s best to air out the fabrics, wash them gently by hand if needed, or take them to a cleaner.
