Perfect for drawstring bags and lightweight bags
Lightweight and easy-to-handle materials are ideal for gym sacks, gym bags or simple fabric bags. They are pleasantly flexible and easy to sew.
Classic cotton fabrics and decorative fabrics, lightweight canvas, fine polyester fabrics and ripstop fabrics are all suitable choices. Natural materials such as linen or cotton twill are also perfect for simple bags with a natural look.
Durable fabrics for backpacks & heavily used bags
Will your bag be exposed to heavy daily use, for example for backpacks, outdoor bags or travel bags?
High-quality Cordura® fabrics in various strengths, such as 560 dtex and 1100 dtex variants, are ideal for these applications. We also offer elastic Cordura® fabrics, flame-retardant materials and textured fabrics. They provide additional functionality and durability under intensive use.
Waterproof & water-repellent bag fabrics
Coated or laminated fabrics are perfect for outdoor bags, bicycle bags or weatherproof backpacks. These include water-repellent PU- and PVC-coated fabrics as well as high-quality 2-layer and 3-layer laminates. They provide reliable protection against rain and moisture while remaining flexible and easy to process.
Lining fabrics – function & appearance
The interior of a bag is essential for structure, durability and comfort. Lining fabrics create a clean finish and protect the contents of the bag.
Suitable options include lightweight polyester fabrics, smooth nylon fabrics and taffeta fabrics. Functional materials such as mesh linings or lightweight fine jerseys are ideal for protecting the inside of bags and preventing damage to the exterior from rough objects such as keys, concealing unattractive seams and stabilizing the shape of bags.
Air Mesh & padding fabrics – a must-have for backpacks
Cushioning spacer fabrics such as our Air Mesh play an important role in ergonomic bag solutions. Used as back padding or shoulder straps in backpacks and sports bags, they provide noticeable comfort thanks to their breathable and shock-absorbing properties.
For technical applications, reinforcements or special design requirements, we offer a wide range of fabrics in many colors. Cordura®, Aramid Kevlar®, Keprotec® fabrics, reflective materials such as 3M™ Scotchlite™, camouflage fabrics with water-repellent finishes as well as technical mesh and functional fabrics are all part of our range. Reinforced base fabrics and highly functional outdoor fabrics are also available for especially demanding projects with individual requirements.
